She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Reeves Adams and Frances Elizabeth Wynns Adams; and her son Christopher Reeves Smith. She is survived by: her child Laverte Clay Smith, III (Melissa) of Freeport, Florida; and her caregivers, Edward Adams Smith (Amy) of Burns, Tennessee, John Wynns Smith of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Thomas Rotier Smith (Tina) of La Vergne, Tennessee and Leeza Clare Smith of Lacey, Georgia.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
