He is survived by: his wife Marsha Greenwell Cooprider; his children, David Patrick Cooprider, Richard George Cooprider, Tami Lee Rutledge and Valerie Ruth Schrock-Gonzalez (Nelson); and his siblings, Terry Cooprider and Kathy Christman Williams. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
