He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Bouten Hillis and Mary Ann Coble Hillis; his brother Bobby Bouten Hillis; and his wife Linda Lee Hillis. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Hillis and David Mark Hillis, Jr. (Kim).
