He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Frances Steen Kuhlman and Lawrence William Kuhlman; and his brother John William "Bill" Kuhlman. He is survived by: his wife Diana Kouns Kuhlman; his brother Jim Kuhlman; his children, David Lawrence Kuhlman, Jr., John Timothy Kuhlman, Angela Kuhlman Thomas and Catherine Kuhlman Currie (Philip); and his grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Leanna Thomas, Joshua Kuhlman, William Currie and Bay Currie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (3001 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN 37212). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Room In The Inn or to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Nashville.
