He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Moody McCoy and Margaret Emmogene Stintson McCoy; and his siblings, Shirley Waddy, Brenda Cox, Margie McCoy and Randy McCoy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angie McCoy (Royce Bell) of Thompson Station, TN and Jessica Huggins (Ricky) of Ashland City, TN; his grandchildren, Courtney Bell Sanders (Austin), Adia Huggins (Carson Halpin) and Echo Huggins; his great grandchild Brinlee Darlene Sanders; his brother Larry McCoy (Kay); and his former wife Teri McCoy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
