Dorothy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Dorothy is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Dorothy’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lee Johnson of Lebanon and Mary Francis Johnson (Morgan) of Nashville, Tennessee.; her grandmother Crodie Morgan (Presley); her daughter Victoria Elaine Bogle (Anderson); and her close friend Faith Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Brown; and her children, Bill C. Anderson Jr. (Diane), Cynthia Gail George (Keith), David Michael Anderson (Cindy), Janet Lei Anglin (Brown) and Karen Michelle Scalf (Brown). She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
