He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnson and Bertie Johnson; his daughter Lorrie Johnson Kelley (Michelle); and his sister-in-law Donna Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Johnson; and his siblings, David Johnson and Mary Fentress (Mike). He is also survived by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204).
