She is survived by: her children, Rev. Robert D. Matthews (Donna), Verleria Rosenthal, Virginold, Veatrice Holmes and Rhonda Kennedy (Gerald); her grandchildren, Roshun, Robert Matthews, Penthea, LaNanda, Melvin Rosenthal, Virginold Holmes (Reshonder), JaTavia, Gerald, Jerel Kennedy and TaNique Guinn; and her siblings, Louvenia Batey, Fredina Rucker (Charles) and Robert I. Matthews, Jr.. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
