She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. J. Herman Head and Vivian Hopton Head; her sister Mary Janice Head; and her stepson Kenneth Johnston. She is survived by: her brothers, J. Sterling Head (Spring Hill) and W. Michael Head (Nashville); her children, Edie Johnston Kelsey and Eddie Johnston of Nashville; her stepsons, Doug Johnston, Jr. (Brentwood), Evan Johnston (Lebanon) and Chris (Thompson Station); her grandchildren, Thomas Hadley Kelsey (Nashville), Josh Johnston (Kelly), Todd Johnston, Vivian Brynne Kelsey (New York City), Edith Elise Kelsey, Mikailie Dale Kelsey (Nashville), Brooklyn Elizabeth Kelsey (Nashville), Meredith Johnston, Caroline Johnston (Nashville), Laurel Johnston (Lebanon), Cara Johnston Kovolisky (New Jersey) and Ashley Johnston (Nashville); and her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Hawkins, Christine Robson, Rhori Johnston, Neil Johnston, Mark Johnston, Tim Johnston and Lochlan Johnston.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodmont Christian Church (3601 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
