She was predeceased by : her parents, John P. Byles, Sr. and Rebecca Byles; and her son Frank Eugene Cotter. She is survived by : her siblings, Violet Harrison, Dorothy Lee Moore, Mildred Speights, Shirley Scott, Helen Douglas and John P. Byles Jr.; her children, Darla Crowder (Preston) and Timothy Cotter (Inger Butler Fiance); her grandchildren, Ronald Cherry, JoQuista Cotter, Preston L. Crowder and A'Sean Cotter; her sister-in-law Johnella Byles; her nieces, Violet Offutt and Sara Brown; and her friends, Dixie, Gloria, Lenora, Margaret and Edith. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Highland Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at 1248 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
