She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Eugene Nelson; her parents, Ruby Lucille Clubbs (Summers) and Oney Edward Poole; her children, Brenda Faye Parker, Terry Gene Majors, Tommy Len Majors and James William Sykes, Jr.; and her siblings, J. R. Poole and Clyde William Poole.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Mai Majors; her sister Shirley Barber (Poole); and her grandchildren, Techa Day (Ricky) and Jamie Wolf. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Et Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Et Historic Spring Hill Cemetery (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
