She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Adams; her daughter Lisa A. Shanklin; and her parents, Robert F. Boatright and Margaret Sue Rhoton Boatright. She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn (Jerry Allen), Linda (Tommy Williams) and Robert (Bob); and her sister-in-law Sherry Boatright of Ft. Blackmore, VA. She is also survived by five nieces; one nephew; seven great-nieces; and five great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
