It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Merrill Bumstead of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bumstead and Madelaine Bumstead; his brothers, Bob Bumstead and William Austin; his parents-in-law, Jack and Doris Snell; his daughter-in-law Christy Bumstead; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Ferrara and Dave Phillips; and his nephew David Snell.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Snell Bumstead of Vernon; his son Gantt; his daughter-in-law Robin; his son Matt; his daughter-in-law Krista; his grandchildren, Bass, Merrill, Ash, Nate, Mary Evans, Witt Bumstead and Susannah Brownlow (Carson); and his sister Jane. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests the following organizations for memorials and tributes in honor of Frank's life: Cumberland Heights, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, Family and Children's Service, and the Frank M. and Ann S. Bumstead Scholarship at Owen Graduate School of Management.
