Frankie C. Moore Obituary
Frankie Jeannette Crockett Moore of Nashville, TN passed away March 19, 2023 in her sleep. She was a homemaker and loved God, family, church, and country.
She was born to parents Frank and Christine Crockett of Barr, MS on January 27, 1929. She attended Thyatira High School; Frankie was married 73 years to her boyfriend Thomas W. Moore who passed away in 2019.
Surviving Frankie are her daughter Sharon Flanagan (Mike), son Barry Moore (Lindy). and Bruce Moore (Schawana). Also surviving are grandsons Bryan Flanagan (Bonnie) and Dr. Kyle Flanagan (Dr, Julianne), and granddaughters Lindsay Moore and Amanda Moore and a number of great grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband Tommy, her son Alan, her sisters Virginia, Lola, and her baby brother Earnest Lee all predeceased her.
Frankie was most known for her love of Jesus Christ, her family, and game day at church. She and Tommy traveled extensively and visited most of the states. She loved to cook, host visitors, and keep up with family and friends. She was highly organized and rarely forgot anything. She developed a strong love of reading after Tommy's death. She also loved the Crockett cousins and the genealogy of the family. Frankie was a faithful member of the Lebanon Road Church of Christ. She worked with Disaster Relief and loved to help pack boxes and shipping items to churches in devastated areas. She never met a stranger.
On April 1, 2023 visitation will be held, from 1:00 until 2:00, at Forest Hill Funeral Home East in Bartlett, TN. The funeral service will follow at 2:00. The burial will be after the funeral service.
