Franklin Hayes Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 3, 2026, at the age of 79, Franklin Hayes of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvin Hayes and Annie Hayes; and his siblings, Helen, Horace and Marvin.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hayes; his children, Alan Hayes (Alyssa) of Nashville, TN, Tim Hayes (Jamie) of Franklin, VA and Amy McCarthy (Sam McCarthy) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Stella Hayes and Jacob McCarthy; his brother Lester Hayes; and his grandson Dean Hayes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Goodpasture Christian School (GCS) in Nashville.
