He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Elrod Cunningham and Fred Benjamin Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Spurlock Cunningham; his children, Chris Cunningham (Julie) and Keri Cunningham Hillis (John); his grandchildren, Ellie Cunningham Elrod, Khloe Hillis and Keegan Hillis; and his nephews, Randy Dunn (Melody) and Rick Dunn (Tara).
