He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Jo Bynum Colegrove; and his parents, Maggie Compton Bynum of Virginia and Thomas Logan Bynum. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jan Bynum; his sons, Scott Thomas Bynum of Farmington and Christopher David Bynum (Elizabeth Stoel); his granddaughters, Sophie Mae and Stella Rose Bynum of Brooklyn; and his nieces, Deborah Pecorelli of Sandy and Dorenda Morse of Albuquerque.
