With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Louis Obersteadt (Nashville, Tennessee), born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Obersteadt and Bernice Mccarter Obersteadt; and his siblings, Charles Thomas Obersteadt and Sarah Obersteadt Merritt Fanning of St. Joseph, Missouri.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Knowles Obersteadt; his sons, Kurt Louis Obersteadt, Grant Thomas Obersteadt (Lauren) and Brent Todd Obersteadt (Ashley); his brother Carl Wesley Obersteadt (Ginny); and his grandchildren, Elsie Obersteadt, Annabelle Obersteadt, Tucker Obersteadt, Kyle Obersteadt and Ryan Obersteadt.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stephens Valley Church (6000 Pasquo Rd, Nashville, TN 37221).
