He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Raley and Johnnie Hobson Raley; his sisters, Alice Raley Griffis, Peggy Raley Chandler and Launa Raley Fleming; and his nephews, Danny Ayers and Jimmy Ayers.

He is survived by: his children, Vann Raley (Terri) of Memphis, Sandra Vaught (Bill) of Lebanon, Mary Hinson (Rick) of Byhalia, MS, Jennifer Osborn VanOrman of Nashville, John Reed (Hope) of Nashville and James Reed of Frankfort, Germany..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 189, Byrdstown, TN, in memory of Ivan N. Raley.

“Carol, Priscilla and I offer our prayers for you and your family in this time of loss. Dr. Raley hired us as houseparents in 2004, a short time before he retired. (We stayed for 5 years) He was always gracious, loving and always gave everyone another chance. When my wife's mother passed away in Michigan just a few months after we came to TBCH, Dr. Raley was at our house within the hour of the news. His prayers and support at that time will never be forgotten. --Lee and Priscilla Harrison”
