He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Moisés Vásquez Sepúlveda (Fresia Elena Medel) and Fresia Elena Medel of Vásquez; his brother Gonzalo Vásquez Medel; his parents-in-law, Lonnie Wilder and Ruth Wilder; and his brother-in-law Samuel Bradley.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wilder Vasquez of Nashville; his children, Andres "Andy" Vasquez of Nashville and Elena Hendrix; his son-in-law Zachary Hendrix of Tempe, Arizona; his grandson Heath Hendrix; his sisters, Patricia Vásquez Medel of Temuco and María Loreto Vásquez Medel of Temuco; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Peterson Bradley Harper (Jay Harper) of Augusta, Georgia and Gary Wilder (Laurie Wilder) of LaGrange, Georgia; Alejandro Caire Rueda. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 9th 2027 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tennessee Medical Foundation or the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
