It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hooper (Nashville, Tennessee), who passed away on March 21, 2026, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Wesley "Sonny" Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his son Ian; his mother Linda Kerr; his brother Jeff Hooper (Sara); and his nieces and nephews, Kaylan Hooper, Zane Hooper, Evan MacLaughlin and Grace MacLaughlin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the University of Notre Dame.
