He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Abbott and Bessie Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Glenn Abbott; his daughters, Karen Hensley (Scott) and Sharon Wills; and his grandchildren, Owen Hensley (Jenni Lee), Hunter Wills, Austin Hensley (Josie), Cooper Wills (Madison) and Marin Wills.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204).
