He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Russell of Rockwood; his son Jeffrey Ray "J. R." Russell of Nashville; his mother Johnnie Russell; his brother Ken Russell (Mary) of Blacksburg, VA; his siblings-in-law, Billy Waldo (Lisa) of Rockwood and Mary Waldo of Rockwood; his nephew Morgan Russell (Madison) of Blacksburg, VA; and his nieces, Nicole West (Drew Cotts) of Powell and Elizabeth Russell of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
