We announce the death of Jennifer Susan Barnes of Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 81. Jennifer will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Royce Barnes and Phoebe Barnes; her siblings, Phyllis Bradley (Ed) and Phil Barnes (Rose); her niece Joy Rose Parks; and her nephew John Bradley.
She is survived by: her children, Kam Nola (Chris) and Jason McMillan (Terri); her grandchildren, Nick Nola, Phoebe Nola and Lacey McMillan; her stepgrandchild Dana Parker (Preston); her nephew Steve Bradley (Lisa); and her niece Kimberly Lambright.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tennessee Ridge United Methodist Church (131 Church St, Tennessee Ridge, TN 37178). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Dickson County, 311 Tennsco Drive, Dickson, TN 37055.
