He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Edward Phillips and Doris Laura Phillips (Tolman); and his daughter-in-law Cathy J. Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" R. Phillips of Nashville, TN; his children, Kelly S. Phillips of Watertown, MA and Douglas H. Phillips of Nashville, TN; his brother Douglas Phillips (Joan) of The Villages, FL; and his nieces, Dr. Courtney Phillips of New York City and Megan Lesser of West Springfield, VA..
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (96 S Barre Rd, Barre, MA 01005).
