It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie R. Hale (Nashville, Tennessee), who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Gentry and Mary Emma Hale; his brothers, Gentry (Lois), John, Joe (Doris) and Benny; and his son Jeff (Tina Hale).
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hale; his children, Robbie (Tammy Hale), Terry (Bob Welch) and Marty Hale; his grandchildren, Justin (Melissa Odom), Christy (Matt Wilson), Nicolle Smith, Aimee Hale and Cassie (Jamie Lopez); and his great grandchildren, Sadie Long, Trent Odom, Gage Odom, Conner Wilson, Emily Wilson, Ava Lopez, Aubrey Lopez, Max Smith, Cody Smith, Lyla Smith and Mila Lopez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
