He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Eggleston Beasley and Thomas Earl Beasley of Franklin; and his brother Earl Beasley, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Eleanor Beasley Nahley (Jeffrey) of Nashville; his grandchildren, John S. Beasley IV of Cape Cod, Andrew McCarn Beasley of New York City, Julia Daniels Nahley of New York City and William Granville Nahley of Nashville; his sister-in-law Kay Russell Beasley; his nieces, Katherine Early Beasley and Margaret Beasley Holt (Douglas); and his nephew Earl Beasley III.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (900 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The purchase and restoration of this building was the first for retail purposes in what was then a decaying downtown Franklin, and Beasley was the Founding President of the Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County.
