We announce the death of John David Martin of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 68. John David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brother Leo Martin; and his parents, Everett Martin and Blanche Martin. He is survived by: his wife Julie Skalka Martin; his children, Josh Martin (Meredith) and Katie Martin; his grandchildren, Annie Castle, Parker Martin, Andrew Martin and Callan Martin; his siblings, Matt Martin (Teri) and Patricia Wamhoff; and his sister-in-law Janice Martin. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
