He was predeceased by: his brother Matthew J. Cody (Debra); and his parents, Matthew Cody and Helen Cody. He is survived by: his wife Eva-Lena Cody; his children, Cheryl Cody (Julien Valenstein), Michelle Cody-Hartman (Don), Debra Morton (Brent) and John C. Cody (Meaghan); his grandchildren, Hunter, Shane, Haley Morton, Emma and Harper Cody; and his sister Eileen Paulson (Harold). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Houston Shaggy Dog Rescue, or your favorite charity benefitting veterans, dogs or children.
