He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Grayson Lawrence and Helen White Lawrence; his former wife Jackie Lawrence; his son Joseph Lawrence (Joe); and his siblings, Grayson Lawrence, Louise Lawrence Sanders and Patricia Lawrence Cogbill.
He is survived by: his wife Mayme Lee Lawrence; his son Kevin Lawrence; his daughters-in-law, Rhonda (Kevin) and Michele (Joe); and his brother Robert L. Lawrence, MD.
