He is survived by: his sisters, Clydene Linville and Shirley Donnell Austin; his children, Linda Sloan and Bobby Austin (Donna); his close friend Freda Montgomery; and his grandchildren, Gary Sloan Jr. (Andrea), Michael Sloan (Paula), Kelly Sloan, Jessica Davis (Kevin) and Aaron Austin (Kira).
