He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Micheaux and Lovie Micheaux of Nashville; his sister Brenda "Sue" Micheaux; and his niece Tonethia "NeeNee" Micheaux. He is survived by: his daughter Taronda Sims-Hambrick (Tomaris-Santez); his grandchildren, Kiontay Sims-Falls and Laquantae Falls; his great grandchild Zola Belle Driver; and his siblings, Curtis "Man" Micheaux, Curtis Micheaux (Texas), Kim "Moon" Micheaux (Arlene D. Henderson) and Chevelle Capers (Mark).
