He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Melvyn "Mel" and Bobbie Evelyn Hinsley; his brother Dr. Neil Harris Hinsley; and his daughter Kristin Michelle Hinsley. He is survived by: his wife Karol Hinsley; his children, Randall Hinsley (Brittany), Brooklynn and Angela Gale (Cory); his grandchildren, Annaleese and David; and his nieces, Nicole Rushing (John) and Jill Hinsley.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
