He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clayburn Pewitt and Mattie Merrandi Stetson Pewitt. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Hartman (Raymond); his grandchildren, Nathan Hartman (Helen), Kaylen Hartman, Alexis Pewitt, Alyssa Pewitt Elkins and Joey T Pewitt Elkins; and his great grandchildren, Emma Hartman, Uriah Hartman, Declan Hartman and Elizabeth Hartman.
