Lee Estes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lee Estes (Nashville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2026 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lee departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lee. Though Lee may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Jones Estes. He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Bellar Rountree (Jack) and David Estes (Linda); his grandchildren, Jennifer Watson (Jon), Julee Bellar, Mary "Maggie" Leinard (John), Catherine Estes, Alison Sanders (Gary) and Chris Jennings (Topher); and his sister-in-law Joyce Estes. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close family friends and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, Activity Center (345 Compton Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37130).
