Lucy Buchanan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucy Buchanan of Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Buchanan and Myrtle Buchanan; her son Terrance "Terry" Buchanan; and her sister Ann Chappell. She is survived by: her daughter Rita Buchanan-Williams (Joseph Sr.); her goddaughter Latasha Patterson; and her grandchildren, Jameia (Chris), Sharmeia (Andre Sr.), Le'Torreia, Hydeia, Joseph Jr., Maccell and Terrance. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
