She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Wellington Sikes; her children, Matthew McArthur Sikes and Suzanne Hope Sikes Thurman; her grandchildren, Mizuki Juliet Sikes and Julian Kazuki Sikes; her sisters, Mary Anna Baum Vincent and Marjorie Baum Pearsall; and her siblings' children, Kimberly Baum Cook, John Pinson Baum, III, John Philip Vincent, Robert Vincent, Mark Vincent, Sarah Pearsall and Miller Pearsall.
