We are sad to announce that, on April 3, 2026, at the age of 91, Martha York Richarson (Nashville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Paul York and Jenny York; and her brother Sam York. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Nunn and Paul York; her husband James Buist Richardson III; her son Buist; her daughter-in-law Mary Richardson; and her grandchildren, Reed Richardson, Fort Richardson (Gina), Rachel Richardson and Zach Richardson (Mary Kate). She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers: Donations may be made to St. George's Episcopal Church, St. Luke's Community House and Alive Hospice of Nashville.
