He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances "Jane"; his son Stephen; his grandson Matthew; his siblings, Mary Katherine "Sissy", Billy, Jimmy and Johnny; his brothers-in-law, John and Frank Rhodes; his children, Martin Rhodes (Georgeana), Timothy, Mary Julia (Joel), Frank and Jane (Todd); his grandchildren, Michael (Eleanna), Ashley, Christopher (Kelli), Zach (Sarah), Emma (Nicky), Kyle and Peter; his great grandchildren, Bryceson, Lockelyn, Ailís, Ruthie, Stephen, Alice, Jane and Benjamin; and his father Ryan.

During Jane's battle with Alzheimer's, Martin was a devoted caregiver, exemplifying his deep love and commitment.
