She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Prentiss Nelson and Charles Nelson of Nashville; her daughter Elisabeth Burch Taron; her grandson Robert G. Burch; and her siblings, Charles Nelson Jr., William Nelson II, Helen Nelson Payne, Polly Nelson Craig and Edward G. Nelson.
She is survived by: her son John R. Burch Jr. (Piper); her grandchildren, John R. Burch III (Tracy), Melanie Burch, Emma Taron and Hampton Taron; her great grandchildren, Jack Burch and Rees Burch; and her caregiver Mary Barcom. She is also survived by 75 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their spouses.
