Mary Lou left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frank Atwood Sr. and Myrtle Mae Atwood; and her siblings, Jane Elizabeth Atwood, Ann Frances Atwood, William Frank Atwood Jr., Edwin Emmett Atwood, John Wesley Atwood, James Donald Atwood, Robert Turner Atwood and Richard Lewis Atwood.
She is survived by: her son James A. Scribner; her grandsons, James Jeremy Scribner and William Anthony Scribner; and her great grandchildren, Cadin Scribner, Bailey Scribner and Avery Carter.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
