He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Perkins and Laura Perkins; and his brother John Bauman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Judy Perkins; his children, Dana Ku (Bon), Michael Perkins (Missy), Ryan Perkins (Tandy), Chad Perkins (Andrea), Julie Guerrant, Emily Perkins (Kellie) and Allison Perkins (Matas Sidrys); his grandchildren, Madelyn Ku, Morgan Ku, Mallory Ku, Reese Perkins, Layla Perkins, RJ Perkins, Clay Perkins, Alex Bowling, Presley Bowling, Carson Guerrant, Caden Guerrant, Cannon Guerrant and Callyn Guerrant; his great grandchild Kailand Turner; and his sisters, Faye Perry, Barbara Williams and Brenda Bradford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
