With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Naomi King of Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Naomi may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cohen Turner and Naomi Bandy Williams; her sister Linda Williams Dale; and her spouse Russell Brothers, Sr.. She is survived by: her former husband James Robert King; her children, James Robert King, Jr. (Fiona), Corinne King Jones (Todd), Matthew Alan King (Llew Ann) and Clayton Turner King; and her family Connie.
Memorial gifts may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Friends of Warner Parks, the Connie Williams King Scholarship at Wake Forest University, or a charity of one's choice.
