She was predeceased by: her father James Edgar; her husband Dr. Lewis Thompson; and her sister Lenora Romine (Clarence). She is survived by: her mother Henryetta Jonas Mckee; her children, Charlotte Houke (Billy) and Mark Thompson; her grandchildren, Melanie Pond (Zach) and Alan Houke; and her great grandchildren, Jubilee, Preston and Timothy Pond.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
