She was predeceased by: her mother Laura Garrett; and her sons, Nicky Bates and Chris Bates (Laura Bates). She is survived by: her children, Bryan Bates Sr. (Jennie) of Dunedin, Florida, Jennifer Bates of Scottsville and Heather Grimes (Kevin) of Scottsville, Kentucky; her sister Sandra Holland (Roger); and her grandchildren, Austin, Nicole, Christopher, Josh, Dustin, Patrick, Camron, Hayleigh, Eli and Ben. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crafton Funeral Home (512 E Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
