He is survived by: his father William "Bill" Panthofer; his stepmother Nice Panthofer; his siblings, Anne Devers (Brandon) and Michael Panthofer (Haley); his stepsiblings, Anna Crockett, Michael Crockett and David Crockett; his aunts and uncles, Betty (Steve Helland), Bob (Nancy Panthofer), Pam (John Haugh), Tim (Kristy Panthofer), Mark (Dori Panthofer), Denise (Dave Statz) and Greg Wall; his grandmother Janice "Jan" Wall; and his nieces and nephews, Abigail, Evan, Sawyer and Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support Marfan syndrome research through the laboratory of Dr. Mary Burchett.
