He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ballenger and Evelyn Ballenger of Nashville; and his son Lance Ericson (Tony). He is survived by: his wife Jo Vaughn Ballenger; his children, Craig Ballenger (Catherine), Vaughn Ericson (Michele) and Nancy Meyer; his grandchildren, Vaughn P. Ericson (Erika), Brendan Ericson (Melanie West), Ian Ericson, Ava Ballenger and Emily Meyer; his great grandchild Tessa Ericson; his brother Allen Ballenger (Linda); and his nephews, Paul Ballenger (Carol) and Ross Ballenger (Lee).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (327 Woods Mill Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or The Wildwood YMCA would be appreciated.
