Though Raymond may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond T. Throckmorton, Jr. and Yvonne Shaver Throckmorton; and his sister Karen Elaine Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Holder Throckmorton; his children, Mary Elizabeth Throckmorton and James Edward Throckmorton; his daughter-in-law Kathryn Wargo; his niece Christina Gallagher Claxton (Dan Claxton); and his siblings-in-law, Wade Rawlins and Judith Tillman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Nashville (4815 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
