We bid farewell to Richard Allen Haggard of Nashville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 15, 2025 at the age of 73. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Haggard and Rebecca Haggard; his sister Ruby Louise; and his nephew Larry Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Dora; his children, Steven Haggard (Amanda) and Amanda Duval (Ernest); his siblings, James, Skeeter Haggard (Cheryl), Roger Haggard (Wilma), Ted Haggard, Pam Kearney (Doug) and Gayla Haggard; his aunts, Rauline and Faye; and his in-laws, Tina Jasper, Millie Long (Harry) and Cliff Simmons (Patricia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and countless leather clad brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church (1709 Hwy 12 N, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem FWB Church (1709 Hwy 12 N, Ashland City, TN 37015). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church (1709 Hwy 12 N, Ashland City, TN 37015). The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025.
Flowers are welcome but donations can be made to Richard's 2 favorite charities, Run for the Son (CMA ministry project) or Bethlehem FWB church building fund.
