He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Benjamin and Hazel Marie Allen; his wife Margaret Elizabeth Maynard Allen; and his siblings, Joe Edward, John Lewis, Henry Alvin Allen, Clara Irene Vaughn, Mabel Louise Hesson and Roberta Earline McNeese.
He is survived by: his son Robert Earl Allen Jr. (Debora Tate Allen); his granddaughters, Amanda Nicole Balek (Mike) and Candice Denise Jackson (Brent); his great grandchildren, Finley Wyatt Jackson, Addilyn Holly Jackson and Bennett Tate Balek; and his sister Barbara Jean Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
